A Special Thank you to ..
Everyone who generously donated to the “Meal in a Bag Mission! The youth are planning to pack the bags on April 29 during Sunday School hour, after which time they will be delivered to a local food pantry for distribution!
The volunteer chairs, Ginny Taber and Cathy Kobel who coordinated the Easter morning breakfast and all the volunteers who brought in baked goods and helped serve and clean up after. We were small in number but strong in fellowship!
We would also like to report that the Women’s Support Group worked and prepared the lunch meal at the food pantry in Blasdell on April 21st. As always the ladies do a wonderful job and we want them to know that they certainly represent our church with pride, love and compassion during this mission! Thanks ladies!
A special thank you to Linda Bishop, Helen Zittel, Mike Partridge, Chrissy Potempa, Gail Berger and anyone else that has set up and packed up clothing at the Children’s Clothing Exchange. As it stands right now, we will not be continuing this program. Hopefully, we can help in another way to bring FREE clothing to those in need. It has been a very heartwarming experience to help others of our community. Again, thank you for your support.
